Open Enrollment for your medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as FSA and DCAP, is here. After listening to the counsel of our insurance brokers, reviewing what comparable organizations are doing, and considering the questions and feedback we've received, we are making significant changes to our medical plans this year. You must carefully review the document.
Important Highlights
- Medical/Dental/Vision: All plans remain with Cigna.
- Medical Plan Changes: Options 2 and 3 are transitioning to High Deductible Health Plans (HDHPs) with a Health Savings Account (HSA). NPM will contribute funds to your HSA, and you can also contribute if you are enrolled in options 2 or 3.
- Spending Account Changes:
- FSA max contribution increases to $3,300
- DCAP max contribution increases to $7,500
- You must re-enroll in these each year.
Key Dates and & Enrollment Details
- Enrollment Period: October 20-November 3
- How to Enroll: Online. You will receive an instruction email from BenefitFirst on Monday, October 20.
- Info Session: Join our Zoom call on October 8 at 2:00 p.m. Add to calendar.
- Effective Dates: Medical/Dental/Vision changes start December 1, 2025. FSA/DCAP/HSA elections start January 1, 2026.
- Plan summaries are posted on the NPM Staff site. Also included on the site are the mandatory Benefit Plan and Marketplace notices.
